A time of Thanksgiving....

The kids and I (Tami) went up to my parents for a few days. It was a lot of fun and Samuel loved being there and playing with Lady. (my parent dog) While we were there my brother Bret watched my kids and I went fishing with my mom and day. We all limited out and it was so much fun. It was freezing cold but totally worth it. Thanks mom, dad and Bret.
Zach is 10 months old now but this picture was taken when he was 9 months old. He is doing so good at sitting up. I was up at my in laws the other day (Travis mom is teaching me to crochet. She makes it look so easy and does a fabulous job. Thanks mom for being patient with me) and Zach sat for like almost an hour just watch us and a movie with Samuel. Zach is talking a lot and is very loud. He is all boy. He says da da da. It is so cute.
This is Miss Aria at 9 months old. My mom took the pictures again. She does such a great job. Anyway, Aria is 10 months old now and is rolling everywhere and I think with in a couple of weeks she will be crawling. She is always on the move. It is going to get crazy around here soon with these two mobile. She says ma ma ma. She sits well too but would rather be rolling around getting into things.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and of course have so much to be thankful for. Most of all our families. They love and support us always. I also want to say a special thank you to our birth mothers. They are very special to us and we appreciate there courage and selflessness. We love you all.

Happy Halloween

Samuel is always wanting to make the kids comfortable or happy. This time Sam put every toy in the swing with Zach thinking this would surely make Zach happy. Actually he was pretty happy for awhile until he couldn't move his arms to get to a toy. What a nice big brother.
Zach sitting with just a little bit of help from the boppy.
Aria sitting with just a little bit of help from the boppy.
I had posted a picture of Sam and Aria in the tub in a previous post, so I finally got one of Sam and Zach. Those are some clean good looking boys.
We where working outside one Saturday and Zach and Aria were tired of being in the stroller so I put them both on me. It worked for a little while. ha ha
Travis had a birthday on November 3th. Sam could hardly wait to carry the cake and candle over for dad to blow it out. I think Aria and Zach just wanted to get their hands on it. We hope you had a good birthday babe. We love you!!!
Samuel was a rodeo clown for Halloween this year. (compliments of my sister Amy) I thought he was so cute. He loved running up to houses and saying trick or treat. Of course, he could hardly wait to get the candy.
This is pre-trick or treating. Sam the rodeo clown, Zach the spider and Aria the bumble bee.
This was the finished product after carving the pumpkin. I thought Travis and Samuel did a great job.

Thankful for our Health!!!

Grandma R, Samuel and Grandpa R.
Sam is so happy when his grandparents come to visit. Unfortunately I don't have pictures to show how excited he is when Grandpa and Grandma P come to visit. He loves both grandparents and I'm so thankful for all of their love and support.
Zachary and Aria didn't want to be left out so we put them in their bumbo's to watch. I looked over and saw them holding hands. Isn't that cute!

Our family has been sick for the last week and a half (except for Travis). Zachary has been the worst. He is still sleeping a lot trying to recoup. I finally took him to the doctor on Friday and found that he has .... well I can't find the spelling for it but it wasn't the H1N1. He was fevering, throwing up, coughing and not eating much. Poor little guy. I just felt so bad for him. We can finally get him to smile and that makes me feel better. Aria just got a cough but it didn't keep her down. She truly is too feisty. Sam has had a fever, cough and sore throat. He feels much better and still has a slight cough. As for me I think I just had a head cold. We are defentantly on the mend and this was just a reminder of how thankful we need to be for our health.

I want to give a special thanks to my sister Amy who brought over dinner one night, my neighbor Kristi who also brought over dinner one night and my neighbor Holly who called almost daily to see if I needed anything and gave me 2 cans of chicken noodle soup. You all are so sweet and thoughtful. Your kindness was greatly appreciated and the food was delicious.

Very Special Day for our Family

LDS Logan Temple
Aria and Zach sealed to us for eternity
Of course Sam can't stand still and has to show off during our pictures
Outside the LDS Logan Temple
Family members who attended the sealing.
Samuel 3 years old
Where did the time go.
Sam finally sat still for just a minute and I just loved this picture.
Aria kept wanting to lean on Zach. This is how it is most of the time. When I do tummy time with the both of them, Aria is always rolling over on Zach.
I know the hat shades Zach's face but I sure love this picture.
Isn't he a handsome boy.
I love this hat and it's even cuter when Aria is wearing it.
My sweet little girl.

Over Labor Day week end we had Aria and Zachary sealed to Travis and I in the LDS Logan Temple. It was such a special day and I could hardly keep my emotions under control. They were blessed by Travis on that Sunday. Again, what a special day. Travis did such a great job. I'm so thankful for him. He loves our kids so much and is a great father. We thank all those who came and supported us. We have such great families and we love each and every one of them.

During all of this my mom took Samuel's 3 year old pictures and the twins (suppose to be 6 month old but ended up being 7 months old) pictures. She did such a great job. I love them.

Visit to my sister in WA

There was an indoor swimming pool we took my sister's boys and Sam to for Colton's birthday. They had so much fun and actually so did Travis and I.
Zach sat up for 2 minutes with out any help. What a big boy.

Zach's first bite of rice cereal. It doesn't look like he likes it but he actually ate it all.
We went to a park in Spokane WA that had a carousel. Sam had a blast.
We celebrated Samuel's 3rd birthday while we were at my sister's house. He is with his cousin Tate.
Mommy and Zachary.
Mommy and her kids. Sam, Mommy, Aria and Zachary

Grandma Welch lives in Priest River, ID which is only 45 minutes from my sister's house. So we got to visit her. It was so fun to see her and we love her so much.
Travis and I got to go on a date while in WA. It was so nice. Thanks Maria
This is what I call brotherly love.
I love this picture. Bath time for Samuel and Aria.

The kids and I spent the first 2 weeks in August at my sister Maria's house in Spokane WA. It was a lot of fun. It was baby central there though. She has a 5 month old and a 17 month old and then I have the twins. We were alway feeding, changing a diaper, burping or holding a baby. It was crazy but fun to have someone to do it with. Travis flew in for the last few days of the vacation. We took the kids to the in door swimming pool and that was fun. The drive home wasn't so great. I got a migrain and was throwing up and the kids where not happy. After 3 hours into our trip we stopped at a hotel for the night. The next morning everyone was much better and the drive wasn't too bad. Although, I told Travis we need a bigger vehicle to make long trips in. We were very crowded. We had a wonderful time at Maria's and thank her family for their hospitality and their love.

My friend from High School and her family came for a visit this past week. We had so much fun. We went to a couple of parks, played in the river, had a BBQ and went for mule rides at my sister Amy's family ranch. (Thanks Amy) Sam is really missing them as he had a blast playing with the kids. Kath and I have been out of high school for 23 years and probably have visited each other at least once a year since then and talk on the phone often. She is a great friend and one I could NEVER do without. Interesting enough.... she married a Rasmussen, my maiden name.
Thanks for coming to visit.

Aria and Zachary. Aria has crazy hair and it is adorable. Zach smiles all the time but for some reason couldn't get him to smile this time.

A lot has been going on since the last up date. The main thing being that my camera broke. So with the help of my mom and my sister Shea we have a few pictures for the blog. Over the 4th of July we went to my parents. I had the kids in cute 4th of July outfits but the pictures were blurry. Samuel went with Grandpa and dad to the parade and got way too much candy. I think he must have been the only kid around. He caught his first fish (12" long). He was excited but didn't want to touch it. Daddy took him on a 4-wheeler ride and absolutely loved it. The twins did great. Infact, it was at this point that they both started sleeping 10 hours through the night. It scared me at first but now I'm loving it.

Then I packed all the kids up and met my sister Shea at Hoogle Zoo and had a great time. Ok to be honest it was hectic but Samuel had a great time and that was my goal so I was happy. Thank goodness for my sisters help though. I bought a harness (which I said I'd never put one of my kids in those) to keep Samuel from running off to see the next site. He and London (cousin) went on 3 train rides. He loved it and said he liked the monkeys the best. We stayed a couple of nights with Shea and had a really nice time. She was very helpful with all my kids. If you'll notice Zach is looking at Aunt Shea in the train ride picture. He loves his Aunt Shea.

The twins are growing so fast. Zach is in 3-6 month clothes and Aria is in 0-3 month clothes. They both smile all the time. Zach thinks Samuel is it and watches him like a hawk. Aria rolled over yesterday. She worked at it for a bit and finally made it. She may be a little thing but that doesn't stop her one bit. They both have strong necks and backs. Aria will stand straight up on her legs and Zach is getting really close. They both are very happy babies and I love that.
