Fun in the Snow!!

I couldn't get this picture to face right but I just wanted you to see the twins in their snow suits. Both of the suits were too big for them but at least they were warm.
Here is Sam getting ready to slide down the hill. He had a blast!!
Here is mommy, Aria and Sam getting ready to ride down the hill.
Here is daddy, Zachary and Sam. Just Zach and dad rode the sled this time.

It is so funny to watch these two interact. Aria is faster at getting places but Zach is close behind. Anyway, just as Zach catches up to Aria she is off to a new place. He'll just follow her around for a while until he gets tired of it and then he plays on his own. They both take each others toys away from each other but it doesn't upset them at this point. I'm sure that will change in a few months or weeks.

The above pictures were taken at Family Night yesterday. Travis found a big snow pile and shoveled out a path for the sled. Samuel was so excited he could hardly contain himself. He would have played all night. Aria and Zach even had a turn going down on the sled. It was fun and a great memory.

Good Night!!!!

Aria gets herself into fun places but gets mad when she can't get out. That's when big brother comes to the rescue.
Zach is starting to move around more and like his sister he can get him self into an area that he is unable to get out of. Again, it's big brother to the rescue.
You can't really tell but Sam got quite a black eye last week. The picture doesn't do it justice. He loves to answer the phone and door. My sister came to the door and Sam took off full throttle, tripped and hit his eye on the side of the couch. By the next morning it was swollen almost shut and black and blue. It hasn't bothered him one bit. Although he sat on dad's lap for quite awhile right after the accident until he felt better.

GOOD NIGHT!!!
I just have to share with you that I had the best night last night. I didn't get woke up once. I can't remember the last time I got to sleep through the night. Infact, I got 9 1/2 full hours of sleep. Sam was asleep by 9 pm and the twins were asleep by 8 am. I even got to sit in bed for a few minutes and play sudoku before I laid down. It was so nice to have a bit of peace and quite before bed. It makes for a calmer mom when you get a full night sleep. It was WONDERFUL!

Happy New Year 2010!

Today was Samuel's first day in Primary. I just had to take a picture because he was so handsome. I have to say I'm a little nervous on his ability to stay in his chair and be quite but he was excited to go. My little boy is growing up.
Daddy helped Sam build a tent. Of course, Sam wanted Aria and Zach to be in there with him. Aria had other things to do but did check in on them every once and awhile.
This was Christmas morning. Sam was more excited about getting the candy then the gifts. Infact, when we'd asked him what he wanted for Christmas he'd say, "just candy".
Zach is doing so good at sitting up. He likes playing with this toy. It was so funny the first few times he'd play with it he would pull to towards him and hit himself in the face. It took him a little bit to realize he was doing that to himself. He is rolling all over the place trying to keep up with Aria. He also scoots around in circles on his belly and backwards. He hasn't figured out the forward scooting yet. He will also claps when I count or sing Patty Cake. It is so cute.
Miss Aria doesn't have time to sit. She is on the move all the time. Her favorite spot in the house is at the cd's. She is so close to crawling. She does the army crawl now. She also will start moving her arms when a song comes on that she likes.
This is the twins with Great Grandpa and Grandma Spackman. It was so fun to see them at the Spackman Christmas party along with all the cousins and aunts and uncles.
Skyler and Zach at the Spackman Christmas party. Zach doesn't seem to mind having bows in his hair.
Cousin Kaylee and Aria at the Spackman Christmas party. We love having Kaylee around. She loves holding the twins and does a great job taking care of them. Wish you lived closer.
Christmas morning 2009. The best part about Christmas was sharing it with our kids. We had a year full of wonderful blessings. We look forward to this new year watching our kids grow. We so enjoyed all the cards and pictures this year. We love hearing from you.
