Summer Fun!!!

Samuel got to pick a ride to go on at the Lewiston's 4th of July celebration in the park. This is the one he choose.
For the 4th of July we went to Lewiston's celebration in the park. It was just a little one but just perfect for us and the kids. I love the 4th of July holiday and I always buy a little shirt for the kids to wear on this very special day.
It's funny what your kids may look like after eating. This is one of those times. (Aria)
(L to R) Zachary, Mae (cousin) and Aria. They were born with in a month of each other.
Aria (Right) and Zach (Left) loved being in G & G Porter's pool. Thank goodness Zach's floaty kept him a-float. He was always trying to reach into the water.
Samuel is into putting things on his head and asking me what he looks like. I always say.... "an alien with and silver (or what ever color of pan he has on his head) hat on." He thinks it's the funniest thing.
Zachary will often fall asleep at lunch time because it is right before nap time. The other day he was eating with his eyes closed.
Aria loves getting in and out of this little rocking chair. It will keep her busy for quite a while.
Zach is getting crazy hair like his sister. I think it is time for a hair cut.
This picture was taken on Father's Day. I love this bunch so much. Travis is a wonderful father and all the kids love him too. I'm thankful for a husband who is such a good father to our kids. I feel quite blessed.

Beginning of Summer

This was one of those Saturday mornings that we were stuck in the house. Thank goodness the kids play well together. I was also proud of the pony tails I put in Aria's hair.
So adorable but out in 10 minutes.
You can never have too many pictures with Great G & G Spackman.
We had worked outside all day on this Saturday and then took a bike ride.
Sam had the time of his life.
This is the same bike ride but I pulled Aria and Zach in the trailer.
They loved it too.
Aria and I on our way to check out the Saturday garage sales.
We scored!!!
When Sam can't get outside to play because of the weather he loves to play PBS on the computer.
Both Aria and Zach love to play in the cupboards and drawers.
But Aria likes to crawl up in them.
For Mother's Day this year we went up to my parents. It was so much fun. I am so grateful for my mom and and great example she is to me. She had 9 kids and I have know idea how she did it and look at her, she is in great shape.
I don't need a Mother's Day to know how luck I am to be the mom of these wonderful kids.
They are the light of my life. I'll still take Mother's Day though. I didn't have to fix breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was great. Thanks Babe!
Up at G & G Rasmussen this is were you'll find Zach. He loves to look at himself in the mirror.
I just love Aria's hair know matter if it is in pig tails or she has just woke up.
Of course this picture she has just woke up.
I think Zach is going to be our phone talker. He'll say hello when he puts the phone to his ear. Ok he doesn't actually say hello but he's working on it.

It was such a beautiful day on Saturday that we had a little picnic out side. All the kids love being out doors. Zach usually will stay in one place as he isn't sure of the feel of the grass yet.
Samuel has been sick again this week but feels much better when he can lay on daddy's lap. Travis enjoys it too especially when he can get a cat nap in.
With the few nice days of sunshine we have been having we took advantage of it by taking walks. The twins enjoy the stroller and Sam has his bike with training wheels on it that he loves to ride.
Samuel and mommy on our way to church.
Mommy and all her kids.
Aria and Zachary love playing in this drawer. It is funny to watch them take stuff away from each other. At this point the other one just grabs a new thing to play with. I'm sure that will change with time.
Zach is now pulling himself up on things and walking around them. He hasn't learned how to get down yet so when he's ready to be down he yells for us. The boy has a good set of lungs on him.
I didn't get a picture of this but Aria had climbed so far up this toy that she fell into the seat of it. It was so funny.
This was Easter morning after the Easter bunny had arrived. Samuel had so much fun finding all the baskets and eggs for everyone. The twins enjoyed playing with what ever they could get their hands on. We are so grateful for this day to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He has given us so much through the atonement and in many more ways.
We love Him very much.

Lots of pictures....../Samuel said....

My friend watches Samuel for me on Monday's while I go to work. Sam loves it there and enjoys playing with her kids. (Kamree, Myles and Samuel)
I can just imagine the noise level right about now.

All the pictures below are the twins' 1 year old pictures. A lady at my church took the pictures and did a fabulous job. She was so easy to work with and the price was great. I had such a hard time picking which pictures to buy. Thank you Suzanne!

Yesterday I was sitting on the floor and Samuel said... "Mom, you look pregnant". Well of course my first reaction is to cry, because I am not pregnant (just in case anyone else was thinking the same thing my son was :) ) but then I asked why he thought that. He said...."we're getting another baby". Wow!!! He has been saying for a while that he wants another brother and sister. I know there is one more out there for us, but wasn't thinking right now, but if that's the Lord's plan then Hey, I'm not standing in the way. Kids are great and I'm grateful for the ones I have and the one/ones to come.

Cabin Fever

Zach can stand up if you put him up there. He is so strong but he out weighs Aria by 4 lbs so I think he isn't able to pull himself up yet.
Aren't kids precious when they are sleeping. (or course they are when they are awake also, it's just quieter when they are asleep) Sam is on the go every waking moment. I'm always telling him I need some peace and quiet so he needs to take a nap. Now he tells me he needs some peace and quiet too.
Miss Aria is able to pull herself up on anything and is now starting to move around things once she gets up. The other day I was unloading the dishwasher and she was trying so hard to get her leg up high enough to get on top of the lid of the dishwasher. Thank goodness her legs are a little bit to short for that right now. It was so funny she was clear up on her tip toes. She also is climbing up our stairs. Yikes!!
My pictures of Sam this time are when he is asleep for some reason. But this time I went to wake him up because if he sleeps too long he will not go to bed a night very easily. Anyway this is how I found him. Often he will sleeps with Speedy (his teddy bear given to him by Grandma Porter) in his P.J.'s or shirt. Lately he has been asking for another brother and sister and then asks if I can grow one in my belly. Maybe this is the reason Speedy is often found under his shirt. Who knows....
Mr. Zach's will often have a toy in his mouth carrying it around as he moves on to the next thing. Then he'll shake his head back and forth making me laugh. He also likes to go into the bedrooms and open and close the doors. When he sometimes closes the door all the way shut he loves it when one of us gets on the other sides and puts our hand under the door. (we have old doors so there is plenty of room to stick our hands under it) He would laugh at that all day.
Here is Aria showing off her cute boots and dress. (ok, it's really mom showing it off) We think Aria is a daddy's girl. Of course, that doesn't hurt daddy's feelings one bit.

The two boys have been sick this last week but are doing much better now. Anyway that is the excuse I'm giving for taking so long to update our blog. At the end of February the kids and I went and stayed with my sister Shea for a couple of days. That was a lot of fun and Sam and his cousin London played so well together. Infact, it actually gives me a break cause he's off playing leaving me to hang with my sister. The twins loved exploring their new surroundings. It was a lot of fun. I'm excited for spring and summer so that we can get out of the house. Sam loves it outside and I'm sure the twins will too.
